Job Coaching/Supported Services
Objective:
Job coaches help assure that employees are productive members of your company. Both the employer and employee benefit from a job coach.
Benefits to the Employer:
- Provide experienced coaches, including staff who are bilingual and also Sign Language interpreters (ASL)
- Identify reasonable accomodations
- Suggest technical/adaptive equipment
- Orient the new employee to company policies and procedures
- Assist the employee to learn a job and meet productivity goals
Benefits to the Employee
- Learn a new job to employer standards
- Learn new job responsibilities as part of an exisitng job
- Help an employee transfer to a new job within the company
- Work as liaison between the employer and employee to assure effective communication
