Job Coaching/Supported Services

Objective:

Job coaches help assure that employees are productive members of your company. Both the employer and employee benefit from a job coach.

Benefits to the Employer:

  • Provide experienced coaches, including staff who are bilingual and also Sign Language interpreters (ASL)
  • Identify reasonable accomodations
  • Suggest technical/adaptive equipment
  • Orient the new employee to company policies and procedures
  • Assist the employee to learn a job and meet productivity goals

Benefits to the Employee

  • Learn a new job to employer standards
  • Learn new job responsibilities as part of an exisitng job
  • Help an employee transfer to a new job within the company
  • Work as liaison between the employer and employee to assure effective communication
